An effective leader,

an outstanding Teacher

Above all, Don Vandergriff is a teacher, and an honored teacher at that.

In 2003, he was named ROTC Instructor of the year, and in 2004 he was runner up for the same title.  He teaches at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and continues to certify Army instructors in Adaptive Leader Methodology, which is a leader development model he created based on the concepts of Colonel John Boyd.
